I’m an award-winning social media strategist (Social Pulse Awards 2013) and I have specialised in digital strategy, content and marketing for the past decade. I’ve worked in communications, including journalism and public relations, for more than 20 years.

I am currently the Head of Content and Inbound Marketing at Green Hat digital marketing agency in Melbourne. In this role, I lead a specialist team to deliver effective content marketing and social media campaigns for a range of B2B clients.

I am an experienced leader, manager and public speaker. I have presented keynotes on content marketing and social media at the Intrigue Digital Marketing Summit, Customer Experience for Transport, and Social Media Marketers in Tertiary Education conferences.

As Advisor, Digital and Customer Projects for Yarra Trams, I led the Customer Experience and Growth Digital Strategy. I successfully implemented a Hub and Spoke model, including guidelines, standards and training, for content and conversation management across website, social and app.

As Social Media Manager for Swinburne University, I led a team of two to achieve the second-highest engagement and create the ninth-largest Facebook community in Australia’s higher education sector. I successfully managed crisis communications and viral activity on Twitter during the Transforming Swinburne announcement in 2012.

I am a former News Corp Australia features journalist and business reporter. My first freelance article and images were published in Nova Magazine in 1996.
